System Views Map for SQL Server 2008 is Out

I remember when the first SQL Server 2000 System Tables poster came out in SQL Server magazine - I was so thrilled. I studied that map like crazy and, in doing so, I became more knowledgeable about both the product and how to design systems.

These days, the maps are much larger and harder to study but they are just as useful. I suggest all SQL DBAs download the latest system view map (no longer "system tables") and spend a little time - not too much since there's just sooooo much in there that you can't remember it all.
