How to Install SharePoint 2010 on Windows 7 Computer Joined to Domain

One word: Don't ####### even try or you will waste a half day to a full day. What a #*$&#&*#+ nightmare.

I eventually got it up and running thanks to the following resources:

All in all I probably visited over 50 pages in four hours. I had no intention of making a blog post about it but *$&% I'm frustrated lol. Consider this my link dump of places to re-visit the next time I do this (and I will!)
